VeriSoft assists physicists in comparing dose distributions measured in an IMRT verification phantom with dose distributions computed by a radiotherapy treatment planning system. Matrices of measured and calculated points of an IMRT beam are compared by subtracting the matrices and visualizing the result. Hot and cold spots can easily be located, and the maximum and average deviation between treatment plan and measured beam is determined.
VeriSoft allows to import data from various treatment planning systems.
