Solid Water HE is the next generation of solid water. It is designed for both therapy and imaging with improved uniformity and durability in mind. Solid Water HE uses new nanospheres to create homogeneous slabs while mimicking true water within 0.5% across a wide range of energies.

Certification and Warranty
  • Solid Water HE carries a 1 year warranty, extended warranty plans available
  • Each batch of Solid Water HE is irradiated on a LINAC using 18 Mev electrons and 6 MV photons. A certificate of conformance is provided with each slab.

Specifications

Certified and Standard grade slabs are available. Certified Solid Water HE includes a certificate of conformity including measured density, measured thickness, ionization measurements, calculated electron densities, calculated effective atomic number and elemental composition.

Homogeneity
Material shall be free from air bubbles or other artifacts greater than 1mm in diameter.
Dimensions
Tolerance for the length and width, or diameter shall be the nominal ±0.5mm for Certified Grade. Standard Grade shall have a nominal tolerance of ±1.0mm.
